Re: What bang?
09/10I do not know what channel. Maybe 4 or 5. I do not think it is a science show.
Just has some science in it. Someone should know.
Thanks for the support in the other tribe. -

Re: What bang?
09/12And to think "The Big Bang," was a derisive term used by a Steady Stater... -

Re: What bang?
09/24So the show starts tonight Monday CBS 8:30. "The Big Bang Theory"
Remember, just because it is called a theory does not mean that it may or may not be true.
There is no doubt that the universe started from an expansion about 13.7 billion years ago.
There are still details to work out but the basic concept is accepted by most scientists as fact.
I do not know how much science will be in this tv show. -

10/02Comedy about cosmologists? ...??? Should be interesting.
Your definition of scientific theory should be used as a disclaimer on the show, Curry, :-)

Re: What bang?
12/30I saw something on PBS recently about the Big Bang. It covered a lot of previously known ground, of course, but it was pretty good. Sorry, I didn't pay attention to the name of it. -

Re: What bang?
01/01There is a new cosmogony center at Berkeley though I have not been over there yet. Soon, I hope.
I belong to a cosmology group in Berkeley; Maybe we could meet there.
The show I have seen a few times. It is Ok but I do not make plans to see it.
